Sixties Geometric pattern

As Christian Dior said that the 08F/W collection is "optimism and opulence" of sixties, the main color are using bright color, checks bound with black patent edgings and lashing of palette embroidery.

The soft animal color is keeping the collection consistent, minks and chinchillas.

The color are new color from Tertiaries, pink, orange, green, purples and blue are also in low value colors and high Chroma.

Complementary color - Green & Purples.

Analogous color - Green and Yellow

CMYK is the printer raw color~ They r Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black!

Normally the Black color No.  is C0+M0+Y0+K100, this method called overprint.

Overprint method is just print the black layer, the color will a bit reddish, so will + C 30-40 .

Photoshop has set the black color for printing is C75 M68 Y67 K90, because the original color of photoshop is RGB, It base on LAB system. Black in RGB & LAB r both 000. The singe layer is well being a print out. so that 

photoshop set the black in C75 M68 Y67 K90, in order to let the print out have more layer and looks more nice. Also in order to invisible the reddish, C is more ~30. Printing little words in multi layer is easily print in a wrong place. So that C just +30 is enough to cover the reddish and reduce the wrong print.

I find a print out which is printed in CMYK, they usually print in separately.

the missing color can be easier find out in separate layer.

I think pantone company's funder is a victim of misunderstand! But he is a pioneer!

Have a international standard is good to help communication!

Some time even people said this, people would get that!

If every things can present like pantone color~

Misunderstanding will be less and less...

And there will be less argues~

I think white combine other  hue is mono-chromatic~

Just like Red, if it is very low chroma, adding tones and shades. then it become red-black.

If adding tints, so become white~.

Using only one hue and just changes tints, tones and shades. It should be Mono-chromatic!

Today I learn about Color wheel form school which I want to study long time ago!

I think color is quite arduous to learn and use!

Becoz choosing colors are depending on the shape, the mode, the felling and subjectiveness of the mater. Such as wedding in china, people will wear totally in red! It is the different culture to western countries.
